About you

I love boxing as a fan of the sport and have done for as long as I can remember. I have shadowed head boxing coach Gary Logan and put so much work into becoming the coach I am today. I have worked hard to make my life full of things that make me feel happy and strong and for me there is no better place than in a boxing gym surrounded by people that inspire me every day.

What is your proudest achievement?

I have become a qualified England Boxing Coach which was a huge achievement for me and something that I never would have thought I would end up doing a few years ago if somebody would have told me I wouldn’t have believed them.

What’s your favourite exercise?

I love to skip, especially as it was something I couldn’t do when I was a kid. I have practiced and worked on it and now I’m confident I could teach anybody to skip because if I can learn, anybody can!

What’s your music style in class?

It’s mostly hip-hop! I go between old school hip-hop and new stuff and try to create an energetic vibe that makes you feel focused at the same time.

Describe your class in three words

Energetic, technical, stress relieving.

What’s your cheat meal?

I love to eat everything! But if I had to pick one thing it would be cookies!

One thing you can’t live without?

My family.

2 things people don’t know about you

I have a twin brother and he is the whole reason I love boxing, it’s what we have in common.

I can be really shy, but I work on it and I push myself out of my comfort zone all the time. I force myself to do the things I’m scared to do and nobody would know how terrified I was before doing it.

I will make you feel confident and strong and feel like that goal that you have in your head is actually something you can do. I will back you up and make sure you get there!
